the geekerati post

This....is um-mazing. Yeah, thats not a TV that fell on her head, nor is it a caricature of the digirati...its the Toshiba Dome Head offering users a full 360 degree experience. This is almost as awesome as the Privacy Scarf.

Thanksgiving!

I have been anticipating Thanksgiving for the past few weeks...just getting out of the city for a few days to enjoy awesome food and time with Scott's family. We went up to Scott's sister's Stacie and Matt with their adorable two girls, Ashlan and Elli. We visit them frequently, and they recently moved from Amherst Mass, to Buffalo. Needless to say the food was amazing, and Stacie's home is always decorated so beautifully, and we're having fun just relaxing and spending family time...their new house is darling and only an hour from Toronto...day trip! ....and we just finished watching Blades of Glory...nothing like a little heart warmer during the holidays :)

Complexions

ali and i hit up another dance performance at the joyce theater in chelsea last night...it was gorgeous and so glad we went. sadly though, it was julie's last night as she is moving back to california...and now she will be planning wedding!

ps- chatted with jenny (scott's sister) today discussing wedding colors...i have been thinking coco and some other accent color like blue or green or pink...and jenny said her favorite is chocolate and ice blue (my mom loves that combo) and i really like it! so i'm thinking of maybe combining...coco, blue, and green...ok, this was not supposed to turn into a wedding post...

la esquina last night & some news

well simon's in town for a visit and we all went to la esquina last night for a late dinner (la esquina= nyc secret restaurant of 2005, don't let the taco stand fool you) which was excellent as usual. and quite the night it was-- simon and julie announced they were engaged and john mayer and robin thicke were in the house. we ended up leaving the same time as john and stephani got a shot with him outside the restaurant. apparently he has very bad teeth.

today we're off to brave ikea for some new housing wares and tonight is more simon time with dinner at the hudson hotel and rumors of bowling....

ps- two nights ago we trekked to brooklyn for some clap your hands say yeah at studio b...great show but i was exhausted from the crazy work week

nikole was also on law and order CI on thursday night! it was amazing...she had lines and a full face shot too....so happy for her!

its definitely been a busy couple of weeks. next on the to do: make appointment at adrianne's for dress shopping, decide colors, stop off for some hot chocolate at the newly opened jacques torres on 74th, and take ali to beacon's closet
