london in new york

if i didn't know any better i'd swear i was still in london right now....weather due to global warming or armageddon, the normally sweltering 90 degree heat and 90% humidity as common to new york augusts has cooled to an amazing 59 degrees-- and rain! yesterday I was walking in riverside park and had the distinct feeling of walking through hyde park. it was all rain-soaked and earthy and gorgeous. i'm loving it!

ps-- that was a Record Low for a New York August!
